Mr. Brown was born Aug.31, 1955, in Bogalusa, La. He was the son of Willie Dean Brock Brown of Osyka and the late Joe Brown.

James L. Perkins, 77, of McComb, died Aug. 21, 2010, at his home after a lengthy illness.
Visitation was at Craft Funeral Home of McComb and at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in McComb with Father Brian Kaskie officiating. Burial was in Fernwood Cemetery.
Mr. Perkins was born April 13, 1933, in Mobile, Ala., to James L. Perkins Sr. and Edwina Bearden Perkins.

Charles Causey, 77, of New Orleans, died Aug. 23, 2010, at a hospital in New Orleans.

Mr. Causey was born Dec. 19, 1933, in Amite County, the son of Marie Coney of McComb.

William Leroy Pope, known as "Bill", 90, of McComb, died Aug. 26, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Gourgeot was born Sept. 27, 1940, in New Orleans. He was the son of the late Maxine D. and Mildred Rosiere Gourgeot.

Mr. Owens was born Dec. 16, 1920, in Birmingham, Ala., to the late Sam Herbert Owens Sr. and Ellie Mae Sims Owens.
