Aline Swaggerty Morse

Aline Swaggerty Morse, 85, a resident of Sumrall, MS, formerly of Covington, LA, passed away on April 17, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

A visitation will be held on April 25, from 2PM until services at 4PM at New Life Pentecostal Church of Covington, LA and burial will be held Sunday at 2PM at New Life Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Oloh, MS. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb is in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Luther Clellon and Augustine Addison Swaggerty; her husband Rev. Lucius Morse; a daughter Krystal Blow; 1 brother, L.C. Swaggerty; and a grandson, Chad Hurd.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Gwen Williams of Sumrall, MS., and Kim Lee of Picayune, MS., one son and daughter in-law Rev. Aldon and Candi Morse of Robert, LA., nine grandchildren, Russell Jenkins, Rachell Arnold, Randall Williams, Telisha Pace, Austin Blow, Cole Robertson, James Horne, Chris Hurd and Corey Hurd with fourteen great-grandchildren.
