Allen "Pinkie" Jacob Cloud

Allen "Pinkie" Jacob Cloud, 89, of Summit, affectionately known to all as "Pinkie," was born on February 25, 1937, and passed away on March 18, 2026. He was the 5th of 9 children born to the late Viola and Anderson Cloud in Oakdale, LA. His Celebration of Life services were held at Hartman Jones Funeral Home on March 29. Visitation was from 11AM to 1PM, followed by a chapel service at 1PM. Bro. Ray Bowlin officiated and a graveside service and burial date were to be given at a later date.

Pinkie worked in the Oil and Gas Pipeline Industry as a General Superintendent and Inspector. Pinkie was so full of life and love and always had a smile and a joke. He was a great provider, who enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. He was a loving, hard working husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 son, Kent Cloud; and 1 daughter, Pam Cloud.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 34 years, Monica; her daughters, Tina Burleson and Vicki Maldonado (Lino); his daughter, Kathi Byrd (Frank); his son, Chris Cloud (Danette); his sister, Lola Marie Courville; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
