Anneliese Stewart 1931 - 2025 Anneliese Stewart, 94, a resident of McComb, passed away on November 12, 2025 at her residence.
A visitation was held on November 18, at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 1PM until services at 3PM. Dr. David Millican did officiate. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Anneliese was born in Ohlau, Germany to her parents, the late Alfons Schonrock and Anna Elisabeth Kleinhort Schonrock. Anneliese’s mission in life was to take care of and make sure her children were taken care of especially her son Bruce, who was physically and mentally disabled after contracting measles at 3 weeks old.
She never met a stranger and never shied away from helping and making sure others were taken care of and treated fairly, especially in the nursing home where Bruce was at. She truly loved all the residents, regardless of who or what they were or where they came from. She was honest and straightforward, always telling the truth, no matter who or what the situation was. She loved the Lord and all her family. She cherished the moments she spent with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; they were her pride and joy. She was well loved. She will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson Justin Lander; her brothers Heinz Schonrock (Gieselle), Fradle Schonrock and Gerhardt Schonrock; and her sisters Herta Tremper and Ilse Schonrock.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Bruce Stewart and Robbie Stewart (Ronda); her 2 daughters Rose Ricketts and Bonnie Stewart; 12 grandchildren Christopher Stewart (Rebecca), Matthew Stewart, Mattie Stewart, Daniel Lander (Faith), Courtney Lander, Kacie Delaughter, Josh Delaughter (Kailey), Angela Johnston, Shawn Ricketts, Shae Ricketts, Brandon Ricketts, and Blake Ricketts (Katie); 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; 1 sister Lottie Maschitzki; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
