ARBOR DAY IN MAGNOLIA

We planted a Magnolia Tree to celebrate Arbor Day and to celebrate America's 250th the commemorative tree was planted at the new Central Park Walking Trail; pictured above left to right: Ruby Pounds, Garrett Smith, Erica Brown, Edward Johnson, John Guy, Theresa Weatherspoon, Darrell Pounds, Lamar Cook, Dorothy Dillon; Not pictured is Joe Cornacchione. The Magnolia Gazette really appreciates the Magnolia Mayor, Marvin Brumfield, for his efforts in covering up the graffiti next door on the Lodge building as we all put in an effort to keep Magnolia the beautiful city we love.
