Bonnie L. Kemp

Bonnie L. Kemp, 90, a resident of Tylertown, passed away on January 7, 2026 at Diversicare in Tylertown.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 9, 2026 at Tylertown Cemetery at 1PM with Rev. Justin Knight officiating. Hartman Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Bonnie was born on October 23, 1935 to the late H.V. Beard and L'Marie Breland Beard in Tylertown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James "Jimmy" Kemp; a daughter Donna M. Lewis; a grandchild Katie Marie Kemp; a sister Drexel Huhn; and 2 brothers Harold Linwood Beard and John Leslie Beard.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law David B. (Susan) Kemp and James H. (Mary Ann) Kemp; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers were James H "JJ" Kemp, Jr., Marlin A. "Mac" Kemp, Carey Smith, Jimmy Pierce, Tony Conerly, and Mark Brock.
