Christopher Carroll Wallace 1969 - 2026 Christopher Carroll Wallace entered into Heaven on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in Jackson, MS, at the age of 56. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend to everyone he met. He was a devoted brother and son.

He gave great care to his parents in their last days. He was an avid hunter and fisherman in his early life and never really met a stranger. He was firm in his devotion, and he loved his Lord.

He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Summit. Chris was born to Thomas Leland and Faye Carroll Wallace on October 2, 1969, at McComb City Hospital. He grew up in Summit, hunting and fishing and generally full of mischief, always in the yard and in the dirt.

He graduated from Bogue Chitto High School in 1988 before spending years offshore with H&P as a crane operator. He later became an independent worker, where he built many beautiful ponds in the Pike County area and took care of many yards through the years. He also worked with Jay Lacking.

During his early years, he welcomed 2 children into the world, Kristin Danielle and Lakin Christopher. He truly loved his children. Chris was a friend to many.

There truly was nothing he wouldn't do for someone in need. At the end of his life, he gave the wonderful gift of life as an organ donor. He was able to give someone another chance through his heart, kidney, liver, tissue, and eyes.

His pond out back at the family home will always be a reminder of him to his family, as he built that pond with love for his Mama and Daddy. He was preceded in death by his wonderful parents; his grandparents; his little brother, Michael Wallace; and his 2 precious pups, Chaos and Noche. He is survived by his girlfriend, Jenny Chailland; his daughter, Kristin Wallace Fenn and husband Blake; his son, Lakin Wallace; his grandchildren, Addison, Emersyn, and Johnny; and his sister, Faith Wallace Cooper and husband Tony.

He is also survived by his nephews Tyler Cooper; Tanner Cooper (Whitney); Turner Cooper (Ashten); Thomas Wallace, Christopher Wallace, and Conner Wallace (Faith); nieces Taylor Faith Cooper (Jake), and Savannah Wallace Scariano (Cody); and a great-niece and greatnephew, Hadley "Cookie" Cooper, and Prestyn Wallace. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by some really great friends who loved him and stuck with him through thick and thin.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 29, from 10AM until 12PM at Sharkey Funeral Home. A funeral service followed at 12PM, officiated by Brother Glen Crane. Burial was at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Summit.

Pallbearers were: Tanner Cooper, Turner Cooper, Jacob Croushore, Keith Smith, Jay Lacking, Jason Gill, Claude Reeves, and Nick Hudson. Honorary Pallbearer: Tyler Cooper.
