Constance Cavanaugh Harrington of Bogue Chitto passed away after a brief illness on December 24, 2024.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Joseph Patrick Harrington; her daughter Lily Grace Harrington; her parents William and Alyce Cavanaugh; her brother Christopher Cavanaugh (Pamela); her brother Craig Cavanaugh (Leslie); and her brother Kyle Cavanaugh (Britni).

Connie was a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s Academy in Little Rock, AR and Centenary College in Shreveport, LA. She began her career as a paralegal in Jackson, and also worked in executive administrative roles for several organizations, most recently at Magellan Strategy Group.

Connie loved volunteering and being of service to others in her community. Her favorite activities involved volunteering at her daughter Lily’s school, Parklane Academy, volunteering in support of her church, and supporting animal rescue efforts throughout the area. Her warm and caring manner and her infectious laugh will be missed by many.

Visitation was held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in McComb on December 30, at 10AM, with a funeral mass following at 11AM. A private graveside service followed after the mass.

Pallbearers were Mac Harrington, Jack Harrington, Jeff Harrington, Luke Harrington, Chris Cavanaugh, Craig Cavanaugh, and Kyle Cavanaugh.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, PALS Rescue of McComb, Brookhaven Animal Rescue League, and St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
