David L. Jackson

David L. Jackson, 65, of Summit, passed away on February 10, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation was held on Sunday February 15, from 2PM until a Memorial Service at 4PM at Pisgah United Methodist Church. Rev. Ricky Lee did officiate. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb was handling all arrangements.

David was born in McComb, on August 26, 1960. He is the son of Lamar Thomas and Betty Katheryn Johnston Jackson. David was a carpenter and of the Methodist faith. He was a wonderful and loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was an avid outdoorsman in that he loved to hunt and fish. He will be sadly missed by those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by mother; his wife of 38 happy years, Tambra Watts Jackson; 3 sons, Jeremy D. Jackson (Ashley R.), Derek L. Mason and Raymond G. Mason; 1 brother, Greg Jackson; 2 sisters, Sonya Forte (Danny) and Angie Jackson Mitcham (Jody); 6 grandchildren Raini Jackson, Stormi Jackson, Charlee Mason, Urijah Mason, Abby Mason and Dustin Mason; with numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place.
