Diamond S. Leggett, 26, of McComb, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Southwest Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life is scheduled at a later date.

Diamond was born on April 28, 1998, in Long Beach, CA, to Paula Andrea Mejia and Davis Maxwell (RexAnne) Leggett. She was a graduate of South Pike High School, where she was a member of the dance team. She also attended SMCC.

She was preceded in death by her son Davis Maxwell Leggett; her father, Davis Leggett; and her grandfather, AL T. Leggett.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her 2 daughters, Simone Andrea Leggett and A’Lani Angel Leggett; 1 son Davis Maxwell Legett who passed away shortly after her; her Mother Paula Andrea Mejia; her stepmother RexAnne Leggett; 1 sister, Jasmine Reed; and 6 brothers: Davis Joseph Leggett, Justin Leggett, Jeremy Wilson, Germarias Mejia, Dominique (Eliana Chavira) Leggett, and Braeden Leggett; her grandmother Jessie Mae Leggett and grandfather Vincent Mejia; her stepsister Elena (Dayja) Culpepper; a significant other, Shaheed Wroten; 4 aunts, Alice (Tony) Kingsberry, Eva Lopyan, Melantha Leggett, and Nicole Mejia; 2 uncles, Thomas Leggett and Joseph (Denise) Mejia; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
