Frances Jones (1937-2026)

Frances Jones 1937 - 2026 Frances Jones, age 89, of Liberty, was called into the presence of the Lord, June 20, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. Frances was retired. She was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She was a loving mother, grand- mother and great grand- mother. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preced- ed in death by her par- ents, Robert and Mattie Spillman; husband, Charles Edwin Jones; 7 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Survivors are her son, Charles "Al" Jones and wife Sherry; daugh- ter, Kim Womack and husband Michael; sis- ters, Mildred Williams and Johnny Ruth Jones; grandchildren, Brennon (Jessie) Womack, Eric (Monica) Stegall; great grandchildren, Tatum and Kinsley Womack, Avin, Jossy, Ryker and Rex Stegall; great- great grandchildren, Theo and Talullah Stegall; and a host of family and friends. Pallbearers were Brennon Womack, Michael Womack, Ray Neal Jones, Barry Felder, Bill Baggett and Jerry Maxwell. Honorary pall- bearer was Greg Wilkinson.

Funeral services were at Liberty Baptist Church, on June 23. Visitation was at 2PM until time of service at 3PM. Graveside service followed at Liberty Cemetery in Liberty.

Dr. Brock Burch did offici- ate. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
