Juanita Marie Lenard Fortson 1943 - 2025

Juanita Marie Lenard Fortson, 82, of McCall Creek, passed away peacefully on Sept. 8, 2025, at her residence.

Visitation is 10AM Saturday, Sept. 13, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services of Brookhaven, with a memorial service there at 11AM.

She was born Jan. 27, 1943, in Summit to Nello Harold Lenard and Virginia Louise Bostick Lenard.

Juanita loved her family and friends dearly.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and crocheting.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Harold and Virginia Lenard; husband, Charles Raymond Fortson Sr.; daughter, Vikki Renee Westmoreland; son, Travis Lee Fortson; 2 sisters, Frances Johnson and Donna Robichaux; a brother, Hugh Carl Lenard; and three grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Charles Raymond Fortson Jr., Patricia Marie Sweet, Timothy Jason Fortson, and Virginia Estelle Bain; a sister, Carolyn Holmes; 16 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
