Katherine Brumfield 1928 - 2026 Ms. Katherine Brumfield, 98, of McComb, departed this earthly life on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at McComb Nursing and Rehab. Visitation is Saturday, July 11, from 12PM to 1PM at St.

James Missionary Baptist Church; service 1PM Rev. Charlie Reed, Jr. officiating and Rev. Samuel Reese, Pastor.

Internment in St. James MB Church Cemetery. Katherine Brumfield was born on May 8, 1928, in Bassfield, MS, to the late Oscar Keller and Mollie Hawthorn Keller.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her 10 siblings (6 brothers and 4 sisters); and her daughter, Shirley Joyce; and daughters she helped raise Florence Gattin, Mary Brumfield; and son, Dennis Brumfield. She leaves to cherish her memories of her devoted husband of 53 years, Wallace Brumfield; her son, Howard Keller; 2 children she helped raise, David Wayne Brumfield, Sr. and Wallace Brumfield, Jr.; a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, greatgreat-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends who will forever treasure her love and memory.
