LOCAL INSTITUTION SINCE 1900 CORNER DRUG STORE SOLD TO THRIFT Amy Rimes, owner of Corner Drugstore, recently sold this local institution to its new owner Marty Bigner of Thrift Drugs of McComb, who also operates Summit Express. Corner Drug Storewas opened in 1900, which makes it the oldest business in Magnolia after our own MAGNOLIA GAZETTE, which was established in 1872. Amy’s last day of ownership was October 7, 2025, and she continues to own the building at 113 West Railroad Avenue.
