Gene and I were able to go to church this morning. We are thanking God that Gene felt better this morning and could go with me. Bro. Dan gave us a very good history lesson about Thanksgiving from Psalm 103:1-5. We had a good attendance and lunch afterward. As always it was an abundant meal. We all have so much to be thankful for. Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind, for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. Psalm 107:8-9
Allen and Tammy Wheeler placed the beautiful flowers in the church in memory of Bill Wheeler and Penny McKee.
On Sunday, Nov. 27th at 4 pm our church will meet at Silver Springs BC for a music and worship program. We are looking forward to this service. Community interaction is so good.
There will be another paint class at Progress fellowship hall on Dec. 8th at 6pm. For information call Bernice at 601-248-6605.
There will be a Children’s Christmas with Santa on December 11th at 6 pm. If you bring a child, bring a gift with a name for Santa to give. There will be finger food and pictures with Santa.
Our special friend, Nancy Sitton, is out of ICU and hopefully will be moved to McComb Nursing and Rehab on Monday 21st. She will need a lot of therapy of all kind as she is still unable to talk or swallow. I’m so glad she is closer to us and now we may be able to visit her.
Eleven year old Ayden Harrington had surgery for brain cancer, now 2-3 more have been found so this will mean more surgery, we need to pray fervently for this child. Two weeks before his surgery the Make A Wish Foundation sent him and his family to Disney World.
Bud Waldron spent a week at Forest General Hospital. He is home and doing better. Prayers for him and his wife Shirley Ann.
