Well, another week is gone and it has been a busy one for me. Gene is not doing as well as I would like. Although this is part of the process of dealing with someone who has had a stroke, it is very hard. We still need prayers.

Prayers are for the family of Belinda Dyar. I don’t have any other information.

Bro. Dan preached from Acts 2: 42-47 on the model church. It was so good and even though we couldn’t be there in person, the video will have to suffice for a while. I miss it so much. Actually, as I write this I am listening to it.

There is a Pumpkin Decorating Contest planned for October 24th at 6 pm. Bring your own pumpkin.

On October 30th there will be a guest singer with lunch afterward. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated also.

Our granddaughter Brenda Sprayberry, her husband Brock, daughter Ashlyn, and son Cayden from Richland came for a long visit today (Sunday). We enjoyed them so much and had pizza for lunch. Both Ashlyn and Cayden are members of the Mendenhall HS Band. They won the regional competition on the 8th and now will be going to the state Competition. Win or lose we are proud of them.

Our granddaughter Kathy Jo Steele and Mason also came by after baseball competition in Hammond, La. Mason’s team won the OTC Sports Event Championship. His ring is so pretty and really heavy. Congratulations to Ashlyn, Cayden, and Mason.
