Randi D. Mohr, 70, McComb, passed away on January 3, at SMRMC due to kidney failure.
A visitation was held January 9, at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home from 12PM until services at 2PM. Dr. David Millican did officiate and burial was at Hollywood Cemetery. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
On April 11, 1954, Mr. Randi Mohr was born to the late ,Albert Oscar Mohr and Jewel Lynell Kuyrkendall Mohr.
Survived by 1 brother Dr. Robert Ricki Mohr, who was with him during his passing; 1 daughter Soyna Carroll; 1 granddaughter, Kallie Carroll; 1 great-grandson, Dravon Carroll. We love you Randi! Thank you for all you did for us!
Randi attended school in Metairie, LA until he graduated in 1972. He attended two year community college in Summit. When graduated in the fall of 1974, he joined the United States Navy and served for four years. He came out of the service and got a starting job working for Mayflower trucking, until he opened his own business making Major appliances in Pike Center Market in McComb. He then moved his store to 51 HWY beside the “One Stop” until he was forced to shut down by the town in the late 80’s and 90’s.
Randi Mohr lived most of his life out on Starnes Rd in Pike County, opening his home up to many homeless adults who lived on the streets to be safe. When helping the with homeless to help the ones that had addictions to try to get them help and to want to do better in life, besides what they were. He loved each one in many ways. He was a great teacher and a great friend and loved by many.
