Roger William Campbell, 63, passed away in Woodville, on April 15, 2025.
A visitation was held April 18, at East Fork Baptist Church from 5 PM until 8 PM, continued April 19, at East Fork Baptist Church from 10 AM until services at 11 AM. Burial was at the church cemetery. Hartman Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Roger was born on November 4, 1961 in Magnolia, to the late Delton and Mildred Causey Campbell. He graduated from ASC and earned his associate’s degree in science at SMCC. He worked for Noble Drilling for many years and retired in 2016. After he retired, he spent most of his time at his camp at Lake Mary. He was generous to a fault and enjoyed sharing his camp with friends and family. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 nephew Mac Campbell.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Campbell; his son Landon Campbell (Adam); his daughter Kylie Chisholm (Blake); 3 grandchildren Gunner, Tripp, and Lilly; 5 brothers Ray Campbell (Linda), Clay Campbell (Anita), John Campbell, Kent Campbell (Gail), and Mitch Campbell (Kay); along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many special friends that impacted his life through work and play.
Pallbearers were Zac Campbell, Trevor Campbell, Logan Campbell, Dan Stevens, Slade Stevens, and Bo Langlois. Honorary
Pallbearers were the employees of Noble Drilling.
