Roy Jeffery Touchstone 1964 - 2025

Roy Jeffery Touchstone, 61, of McComb, passed away on April 18, 2025 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation was held on April 21, at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 10AM until services at 12PM. Burial was at Union Primitive Baptist Church and Bro. Jerry Terrell did officiate. Hartman Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Roy was born on March 26, 1964 to Dorothy McDaniel Touchstone and the late James Leroy Touchstone. He was the best daddy and pawpaw. He knew every eating stop on every major highway through his years of truck driving.

He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents J.C and Marjorie Touchstone; his maternal grandparents John Ellis and Gennie McDaniel; aunts Judy Touchstone and Emma Case; and his uncles Nathaniel “Son” McDaniel, Henry McDaniel, Clifford McDaniel, Charles McDaniel, Marshall McDaniel, and Milton McDaniel.

He is survived by his mother Dorothy McDaniel Touchstone; his children Mallory (Keith) Touchstone and Tyler (Kim) Touchstone; 7 grandchildren Ethan Touchstone, Brandon Laird, Grayson Touchstone, Raynie Touchstone, Paisley Touchstone, Audrey Stinson and Joshua Stinson; sister Melinda Touchstone; 2 stepbrothers Jimmy (Glenda) Phelps and Ricky (Melanie) Phelps; special companion Jo Ann Lee; very special uncles Doug Touchstone, Seth Touchstone, and Hilton “Pete” McDaniel; very special aunts Debbie Touchstone and Marie Travis; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and truck driving buddies.

Pallbearers were Ethan Touchstone, Brandon Laird, Bryan Terrell, Jody Cooper, Seth Touchstone, and Keith Moesta. Honorary
