The Praise Team opened our worship service last Sunday with beautiful songs and music. After prayer and announcements, the music service continued as we received a blessing.

The Special Music was “Battle Belongs” sung by the Praise Team.

Bro. LaVerne Summerlin’s message was “A Merry Heart” from Proverbs 17:22. After the message we had the Observance of The Lord’s Supper.

Saturday night we will have the Church wide Fall Fest, followed by our annual Churchwide fish fry. Looking forward to a fun filled night.

We will have another garage sale on October 22 from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm., so come by to find some good bargains.

The Golden Ager for the Week is Terry (Pops) Woods, so remember him with a card, call or visit this week.

The Golden Agers and visitors traveled to Brookhaven to enjoy lunch at Poppa's. Emma Stewart said the blessing. Others attending were Rachael Freeman, Joy Laird, Martha Bur-row, Brent Robinson, Tom Stockwell, Gayle Wilson, Brenda Martin, Joan McDaniel, Rose Roberts, Dolly Freeman, Doris Pine, Holly Roberts, Emily Roberts, Corey Roberts, Merri Burrow, Jennifer Sinclair, Blythe Anseman, Piper Sinclair, Eaton Sinclair and Bro. LaVerne Summerlin.

The Associational Fall Meeting will be held Sunday, October 16 at 6:00 pm at First Baptist Church in McComb. Our church will be attending there Sunday evening.
