Chris Myers was in charge of the Percy Quin Park ministry last Sunday morning with other deacons and men attending to help with the service. They reported a very good service. Will be another group to bring the message this coming Sunday at 9:00 am.
Our morning and evening worship services were very good last Sunday as we met for morning and evening worship service. David McDaniel and Erica Myers sang the special music “Fear is a Liar”. Bro. LaVerne Summer-lin’s morning message was “God Give Us Christian Homes” from Philippians 2:13-15. Evening message was “The Proof Is In The Pudding” from Ephesians 5:18.
The nominating committee has begun their work to select workers for the upcoming new church year so if someone asked you to serve please be ready to let them know you will be happy to help out wherever they need you.
Golden Ager for the Week is Lewis Wallace so remember him with a call, card or visit.
Please continue to be in prayer for Elaine Williams Hutchins as she is really in need of our prayers.
There are some happy children this week as school will be out for the summer.
The Children’s Trip to The Swamp Tour is planned for this Saturday. They had to cancel their last planned trip as it started to rain very hard on their way there and had to turn around and return home. So hopefully this time it will be a very wonderful day.
Folks, so many of you say you enjoy the Terry’s Creek news column, so please give me a call of some of your activities because when I skip a week because I do not have any news to report, I usually hear about it, they are wondering why I did not write something.
