Thomas Jack Wilson, 80 of McComb, passed away Friday, January 31, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
He was born September 16, 1944 in Natchez, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held from 4PM until 8PM on February 7, at Sharkey Funeral Home, and from 10AM until time of service at 11AM on February 8, at Sharkey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pike Memorial Gardens in McComb. Dr. David Millican will officiate. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Jack was a member of Felder United Methodist Church and was a life-long resident of Pike County. Jack worked in the Textile Industry at Kellwood across several plants in his career. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and playing golf.
Jack was an avid golfer and member of Fernwood Country Club. During his years of playing golf he accomplished 9 hole in one’s.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Bardwell Wilson; father, Benjamin Brown; mother, Mary Brown; brother, Ralph Wilson; sister, Martha Juneau.
Survivors are his son, Benjy Wilson; 1 grandson, Tyler Wilson; 1 granddaughter, Blair Wilson; brothers, Roy Gene Wilson and Ernest Brown and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Blair Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Glenn Owens, Wayne Williams, John Dees and Daniel Black. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Gene Wilson and Ernest Brown.
