TWISTS & TURNS
passwords must now include a symbol, an upper-case letter, a number, a hieroglyphic, a gang sign, the date of your grandparents’ marriage and your weight when you were twelve.
NOVEMBER: My trip to the beach with friends that wasn’t at all what we expected.
It began with a storm that took out the air conditioning, a miserable heat spell, followed by steady rain, then a cold front dashed through, and finally tempers that put us all in a snit and ended up shortening a vacation/nightmare.
We went home three days early.
Now, with December just around the corner, I’m hoping for happy times with family, great stories I’ll be able to share with you and delicious food.
I want to top it all off with a large Christmas tree covered from top to bottom in heirloom ornaments and enough lights to raise the electric bill to heart stopping numbers!
That may all be a tall order, but after a year that weirdly started with deep snow in the deep South, a girl can hope, right?
But let me not forget to be thankful for a hurricane season without one single storm crashing onto our shores, making everyone’s life miserable.
Like the preacher says, “God knows what he is doing!”
